Hey, Greenville Friends! 🌟

I’m so excited to share some resources that I thought might be super helpful for you all!

🎨 Art & Creative Spaces

Here are some great spots and resources for art lovers:

  • Local Art Galleries: Check out Artisphere for current exhibitions showcasing local talent!
  • Open Mic Nights: Find your voice at local venues like The Coffee Underground.
  • Greenville Center for Creative Arts: Ready to get artsy? GCCA has all the options—painting, pottery, digital arts, you name it. They run seasonal workshops, summer camps, and even offer “art by appointment” for a more personal touch. Check out their full class listings here and find what sparks your creativity!

Open Studios event: – Greenville Center for Creative Arts has an Open Studios event, where local artists welcome the public to check out their workspaces. It’s an awesome way to get a behind-the-scenes look and connect with Greenville’s art community! When: You can visit the studios by making an appointment with the individual artists, or by attending the First Friday gallery crawl from 6 – 9 pm on the first Friday of most months. More info is on this page.

  • Mauldin Cultural Center: Keep an eye on their rotating arts programs and acting classes! They run creative workshops, seasonal classes, and even summer camps for all ages. If theater or arts interest you, this is the place to jump in! Check out their Arts Education page for the latest updates.
  • Alchemy Improv Theatre: If you want to go deeper into improv beyond the free What’s Up Greenville workshops, Alchemy offers beginner-friendly paid classes and regular shows at Coffee Underground. They’re an awesome resource for anyone looking to build skills and dive into the world of improv. Check out their website for class schedules and showtimes.
